Egypt detected 733 new coronavirus infections on Friday, bringing total infections since the outbreak last year to 271,780.

The health ministry also reported 37 deaths, bringing total fatalities to 15,547.

555 patients have been discharged from hospitals following recovery, bringing recoveries to 199,840.
