Local media in UAE say Al-Sharjah had paid $3.3 million to acquire the player's services

Al-Sharjah have completed the signing of Raja's Congolese striker Ben Malango on a three-year deal, the UAE side announced on Tuesday.

Emirati media reported that Al-Sharjah had paid $3.3 million to acquire the player's services.

The 28-year-old has been recently linked with a move to Cairo giants Zamalek, who are on the lookout for a new marksman following the departure of Mostafa Mohamed, who joined Turkish giants Galatasaray on loan last January with an option for a permanent move at the end of the year.

Ben Malango has been one of Raja's key players since joining from Congolese giants TP Mazembe in the summer of 2019.

He scored 39 goals in 91 appearances with the Moroccan side in all competitions, helping them win the domestic league in 2020 and the CAF Confederation Cup in 2021.
