Poland says it has barred several Belarusian officials from entering the country following last month's widely criticised presidential election
The ministry said Tuesday that the list of barred officials is long but declined to give any names.
It would not confirm a report by Poland's official PAP news agency, citing an unidentified Foreign Ministry official that the list is headed by President Alexander Lukashenko and includes the names of judges and prosecutors involved in a crackdown on dissent following the 19 December election.
Lukashenko was credited with nearly 80 per cent support in the election, widely regarded as fraudulent and criticised by international observers. Mass protests were violently dispersed by police, who arrested seven of nine opposition candidates.
