The final Egypt football squad for London Olympics will be announced next week then team heads to France for training camp

Egypt Under-23 coach Hany Ramzy said he will name his final squad for 2012 London Olympics games on 9 July, three days before flying to France for a closed camp.

The technical staff have given strict instructions to some players who didn’t follow the coaches in Arab Cup, like Saleh Goma’a, Marwan Mohsen, Saleh Soliman and Mahmoud Alaa.

The Olympic Pharaohs returned home after the first round of Arab Cup in Saudi Arabia where they were held by 1-1 draw by Sudan, Lebanon and lost 2-1 against Iraq in Group C.

The Egyptian national team will get a three-day rest before starting the closed camp in France on 12 July in which they will be playing two friendlies, then head directly to London on 21 July for the Olympics games.

Egypt, who returned to the most prestigious tournament after an absence of 20 years, are tied with Brazil in the same group that also contains Belarus and New Zealand.
