An impressive rally by the Commercial International Bank pushes the EGX30 up 1.6 per cent to sit at 5,418 points
Egypt stocks see substantial gains on Sunday morning, with main benchmark EGX30 advancing 1.6 per cent to sit at 5,418 points one hour into the session.
Commercial International Bank (CIB) saw an impressive rally, rising 4.4 per cent, marking LE26 million in turnover up to now. The private bank is currently trading at LE31.4 per share.
Turnover reached some LE200 million, with 104 shares gaining value and 32 dropping.
The broader EGX70 index saw a milder increase, rising 0.66 per cent.
