Ghana and Smouha striker Samuel Affum will be watched by Swiss Super League side Young Boys when he plays against Beni Suef in Alexandria
Swiss Super League side Young Boys have stepped up their interest in signing Ghana and Smouha forward Samuel Affum when the winter transfer window reopens.
"Young Boys officials have travelled to Egypt to watch the Ghana striker ahead of a January move," Ghanaian website Ghanasoccernet claims.
Smouha and Young Boys have reached an agreement on a $1.5 million bid for the services the former Ghana Premier League golden shoe winner.
The 23-year-old striker Affum will take part in Smouha's game against Beni Suef in an eight club tournament in Alexandria hereby Young Boys sporting director Fredy Bickel and chief scout together with Fifa agent Walter will be there to watch the player before signing the contracts.
Affum, who still has two years left on his contract with Smouha, was the team's top scorer with eight goals before the cancellation of the Egyptian Premier League in February due to the Port Said massacre.
