Zimbabwe Prime Minister Morgan Tsvangirai said on Thursday he would oppose plans by President Robert Mugabe to hold an election on July 31.

At a news conference Tsvangirai also accused Mugabe, his partner in a factious unity government, of violating a power-sharing agreement set up after bloody and disputed polls five years ago.
