Champion in 2009 and 2012, El-Sherbini routed Metwally in 31 minutes (11/8, 11/8 and 11/9).

"I can't believe I have won it again," El-Sherbini said after the game.

"Marian played so well, the second game was crucial, I never thought I would win it but I just kept trying to get it back point by point." she added.

Later in the day, Karim El-Hammamy defeated his compatriot Fares Dessouki 3-1 (11/8, 11/6, 6/11, 13/11) to win the title after 83 minutes.
