Taekwondo player Seif Eissa said on Monday that he cannot describe his feeling after clinching the bronze medal at the ongoing Olympic Games, adding he is delighted to make all Egyptians happy.

Eissa won on Monday the bronze medal in the 80kg category after defeating Andre Richard Ordemann of Norway 12-4.

"I cannot describe my feeling now," Eissa told BeIN Sports after winning the medal on Monday.

"Thank god for this achievement. I hope that all Egyptians are happy now. It was a dream not just for me. It was the dream of all 100 million Egyptians."

Eissa's medal is the second for the Egyptian delegation after that of Hedaya Malak, who won the bronze medal for the women’s 67kg category earlier on Monday.

The 23-year-old added that he wishes the rest of players good luck as the Egyptian delegation aims for a gold medal.

"The Egyptian delegation was desperate to win and the Taekwondo was the source of this victory today."

"I wish the rest of players good luck in the coming days and to win the gold medal."

"We tried to win the gold today, but the competition was very tough," Issa said.
