Ahly's El-Said out for three months

The Ahly forward will be out of action for three months after suffering a serious foot injury during his side's victory over Nkana on Saturday

Ahly's midfielder Abdallah El-Said will miss the rest of the season and the beginning of the next as he will be sidelined for at least three months due to a foot injury.

The 28-year-old left the pitch during his side's 2-0 win over Nkana of Zambia on Saturday in the Confederation Cup quarters.

Scans revealed that he has a fractured bone in his right foot. The team's doctor announced that he will be sidelined for at least three months as he needs surgery.

''El-Said has a fractured bone injury in his right foot," Ahly's doctor Ihab Aly told the club's official website on Sunday.

"He needs surgery and he will be sidelined for at least three months."

El-Said has produced a string of strong displays with this season, scoring nine goals so far.
