First there was Sufi in Zamalek, then Falak in Garden City and shortly after Kaffein in Downtown - there seems to be a trend starting for cafes that host artistic events and activities attracting the city's avant-garde folk to their doors.
One such place is set to open on Friday 15 August.
Dubbed Room, the art space promises good coffee, live music, a dance studio, workshops of several artistic diciplines, exhibitions, screenings, think tanks and disucssions for artists along with panels and talks.
The opening night will feature a performance by electronic and spoken word duo Ahmed Saleh and Abdallah Miniawy.
