Basel's Egyptian forward Ahmed Hamoudy featured in his side's starting line-up against Liverpool on his first appearance in the Champions League since his arrival to the Swiss club last summer.
Hamoudy missed his side opener against Real Madrid last September when they lost 5-1 to the Spanish giants.
The former Smouha midfielder made three appearances with Basel this season, scoring one goal.
Compatriot Mohamed El-Nenny will also be featured along side Hamoudy against the English outfit.
