Thousands of Zamalek's supporters flocked to the club's training ground in Greater Cairo's Giza on Friday to celebrate a long-awaited Egyptian Premier League triumph.
The fans were allowed to celebrate on the pitch after the club's security officials closed the small section of stands for safety reasons.
The players were due to show up but it remains to be seen whether they would be able to hold their training session, given the large number of supporters on the pitch.
Zamalek ended an 11-year Premier League drought when nearest challengers Ahly were held to a 1-1 draw by Smouha on Tuesday, gifting their arch-rivals the title with two matches to spare.
Both sides still have a game to play, with the White Knights leading the table with a record 86 points, eight ahead of Ahly.
