Ahly's new-signing, Ahmed El-Sheikh, will be available to play with the Red Devils after the Egyptian Football Association (EFA) appeals' committee rescinded his sanctions on Thursday.
The 26-year-old was hit with a four-month ban and LE133,000 fine by the EFA for signing to two clubs Ahly and Zamalek.
"The appeal was accepted and the sanctions were lifted after reconciliation," the appeals committee said in its justification on Thursday.
Last July, Ahly announced the signing of El-Sheikh on a five-year deal after a tight race with Zamalek.
The Whites filed a complaint against the player saying that he had initially signed for the club and that what caused the EFA to impose sanctions on him for double signing.
The player appealed his ban and Ahly escalated the matter issuing a statement that said that the club will boycott all competitions organised by the EFA, while also stressing that the club will do whatever it takes to preserve their rights.
After the sports minister Khaled Abdel Aziz intervened, Zamalek withdrew their complaint.
