Egypt's hyperrealist artist joins group exhibition in London

Egyptian Nourine Hammad's work is on display in a group show at Plus One Gallery

Nourine Hammad is among the artists that are part of the group show "The Beauty of Paper” on display at the Plus One Gallery in London until 26 September.

The exhibition that opened on 8 September features a vast array of expressions on paper.

The artists approach paper with their distinctive styles using mediums such as oil, acrylics, watercolour, quiche, pencil, charcoal, ink, colour pencils and graphite.

Hammad displays a magnified set of creased playing cards.

Other participant artists include Adrian Smart, Andrew Hemingway, Andrew Holmes, Angus McEwan, David Wheeler, Denis Ryan, James Van Pattern, Paul Cadden, Philip Harris, Roger Watt and Steven Kozar.
