عين الحر ميزانه

Ein al-horr mizanu

Translation: The impartial eye is the best judge.

Meaning: A person with an unbiased perspective will judge matters fairly. The word "horr" (freedom) in this context, refers to someone who is free of outside influences. For all its brevity and wit, this proverb is out of use.  Another saying of equal length and imagery, “qalb al-mo’men dalilu” (The heart of a believer is a compass), is still in daily use.
