The performance shall be held at the Wisdon hall of El Sawy Culturewheel, on Saturday 8 December.
Co-starring in the performance is Singer Dalia El-Gendi along with musicians: Youssef El-Shereai, Islam Abdel Aziz, Mustapha Sami and Wessam Mokhtar.
The event is a collage between poetry and songs written and recited by Ahmed Haddad as well as a few of old time favorite classics.
Haddad is a poet and artist, who published his first compilation of Poetry titled El-Ward Elli Beyetla (The Flowers that Bloom) in 2000. He wrote lyrics to numerous Independent music bands such as Eskenderella, Yehia Ghanam, Fairouz Karawya, Fatma Adel, Salma Sabahy and Dalia El-Gendi.
His most recent Poetry performances were Matakharnash (We Weren’t Late) April 2015 in collaboration with Eskenderella music troupe as well as Teslam W teeish (Safe and Sound) July 2015 in collaboration with singer Dalia El-Gendi.
His Book of Poetry Beshweish (Gently) was awarded the first prize for Vernacular poetry in 2012 by the Egyptian Ministry of Culture. His latest publication is Azizi Fulan (Dear Anonymous) was published in 2013 by Dar Al-Shorouk.
