الخير على قدوم الواردين
Elkheir ala qodoum el wardin
Translation: Good fortune comes along with the new arrivals.
Meaning: This stock phrase is used to put guests at ease. When you receive good news or something auspicious happens, you attribute it to the presence of your guests. It’s like saying "you came and brought good luck with you."
