The board of Abou Kir Fertilisers and Chemical Industries approved a capital increase Thursday, raising paid-in capital to LE1.26 billion.
The capital increase will be achieved through a share dividend distribution, equivalent to two free shares for every three shares owned.
The biggest listed chemicals manufacturer’s share price hiked by 9.7 per cent in today’s trading session to reach LE236 per share.
