kArkAdAn band is scheduled to hold two tribute concerts for British rock star Cat Stevens -- now known as Yusuf Islam -- at two different Cairo venues.
The first concert is scheduled to take place at Elbet Alwan on Wednesday 9 March.
Darb 1718’s roof will host the second concert on Wednesday 16 March, as part of its Mazzika X El Sat7 musical nights.
Founded in 2011 by songwriter and composer Kareem ElGhalid, kArkAdAn is an Egyptian music project that seeks to present a fresh take on rock-oriental fusion.
The group defines itself on Facebook as “a multi-oriented music production theme based on innovation and using musical technology production tools.”
