A Saudi delegation to Cairo headed by Saudi Arabia's ambassador to Egypt Ahmed Abdul-Aziz Qattan withdraw from the Arab League meeting during a speech by Iraqi's foreign minister, Ahram Arabic news website reported.
Saudi's Ambassador Ahmed Al-Qattan and his aides left the meeting hall during Iraqi Foreign Minister Ibrahim al-Jaafari's speech in which he defended Hezbollah, rejecting Saudi's accusations that the group is a "terrorist organisation."
Al-Jaafari also described Hezbollah as an "Arab Party."
After al-Jaafari finished his speech, Al-Qattan returned back to his Saudi seat and the meeting continued.
Earlier this month the six-member Gulf Cooperation Council that comprises of Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates, Bahrain, Kuwait, Oman and Qatar designated Hezbollah as a terrorist organisation.
