Egypt's Pachin full-year profit down 14 per cent

Paintmaker feels the economic pain too as its gains fall to LE133 million, down from LE155 million in the previous financial yeaer

Egyptian paintmaker Pachin's reported a 14 per cent drop in net profit in the year to June 2011 to LE133 million (US$22m), the stock exchange said in a statement on Thursday.

Net profit in the financial year 2009/10 was LE155m, the statement said. It did not add further details.

Pachin's financial year runs to 30 June.
