Club Africain stunned Nigeria’s Kaduna United with a 1-0 victory away from home to reach the Confederation Cup semis on Sunday.
Chaker Rguii converted a penalty on the stroke of halftime to give Africain a last-four spot in Africa’s secondary club competition.
The Tunisian side topped their group with 11 points, just one ahead of Angola’s Interclube who lost 1-0 to ASEC Mimosas in Sunday’s other match.
Club Africain will meet Nigeria’s Sunshine stars in the semis while Interclube will play Morocco’s Moghreb Fes.
