Egypt stocks registered a partial recovery midday Monday, with the drop in the benchmark EGX30 reduced to 2.41 per cent at 3,931 points, one hour before the session concludes.
The Bourse's main index plunged more than 5 per cent when trading started prompted by Sunday night's violent clashes between protesters and the Egyptian army that left 24 dead and hundreds injured.
