Naser Hooshmand Vaziri, born in 1946 in Hamedan, is a graduate of Fine Arts Faculty at the Tehran University.

His sculptures incorporate a variety of materials: stone, mud, wood, sand glass or metal. A large number of his works are exhibited at the Laundry Museum of Zanjan (northwestern province of Iran) and in Bagh-e Ferdowsi (The Gardens of Ferdowsi) in north Tehran. In his artwork, Vaziri also draws on taxidermy.

After graduation, most of Vaziri's work was produced in his studio located at Fatemi Street in Tehran. In 2005, he moved to a cave in Lavasan in the city's north east. There, surrounded by nature and hills, he has created an open-air museum in which to exhibit his sculpture and art, created from recycled materials.
