Egypt's EIPICO says 9-month net profit up 0.5 per cent

Drug maker sees slight gains over 2010, boosted by rise in sales

Egyptian drug maker EIPICO's 2011 nine month net profit rose 0.5 per cent year-on-year, the company said in a statement released by the stock exchange on Monday.

Net profit climbed to LE248.1 million from LE246.9 million in the same period in 2010.

Net sales rose to LE875.6 million from LE850.8 million a year earlier.
