Egypt will host one of the four major Arab cycling tournaments in 2017, the Arab Cycling Federation announced on Tuesday.
"The Arab tournaments of 2017 have been approved and the hosting countries are Morocco, Tunisia, Egypt and UAE," Arab Cycling Federation president Sheikh Sultan Al-Qasimi revealed.

"Morocco will be hosting the Arab clubs championship in September and then Tunisia will be hosting the Mountain biking championship from 2 to 6 October.
"Egypt will host the Road cycling tournament starting from 25 November while the last event will be hosted by UAE in December," he concluded.
Wageh Azam, president of Egypt's Cycling Federation, has recently confirmed that the Road cycling tournament will be held in Cairo instead of Sharm El Sheikh or Hurghada to allow more teams from Arab countries to participate.
