Eurozone official growth stagnates at 0.2 per cent in third quarter

Eurozone growth flattened at 0.2 per cent in the third quarter, official EU data showed on Tuesday, confirming an earlier estimate.

The 17-nation bloc's economic expansion was pulled up by rises of 0.5 growth in Germany and 0.4 per cent in France, according to figures from Eurostat data agency.
