Raul Meireles has praised Didier Drogba's form after producing a string of fine performances with the Blues.
The Ivorian striker hit a brace against Newcastle before shining in Monday’s 2-1 win over Manchester City to advance in the Premier League.
"Drogba is the key to this team. We need Didier and his goals," the Portugal international said in The Sun.
"He scored twice against Valencia last week and another against Newcastle and both times he demonstrated his quality at the decisive moment,’’ he added
"He'll boost our title charge. We have all spoken in the dressing room and our challenge now is to obtain every home point going until the end of the season," he concluded
Chelsea are third in the league table with 31 points, seven behind leaders Manchester City.
