Market Update: Egypt stocks gains 0.44 pct by midday

Egypt's main stock index, the EGX30, rose 0.44 per cent since the start of Thursday's trading to record 3,578.53 by midday.

The broader EGX70 and EGX100 indices increased by 1.14 and 0.87 per cent respectively.

Out of 133 listed stocks, 88 gained and 20 fell in the early trading hours.
