A top White House economic adviser responded Friday to a new tariff threat from China, warning Beijing not to underestimate President Donald Trump's willingness to hit back.
"They better not underestimate President Trump's determination to go further," Larry Kudlow said on Bloomberg Television.
The comments came shortly after Beijing threatened to impose retaliatory tariffs on another $60 billion in US exports, and possibly take other steps to respond to Trump's trade policies that have largely targeted China.
