Five members of the same family have been killed after their house collapsed in El-Zobeidi area in Qena, Upper Egypt, Al-Ahram Arabic news website reported.
The victims were four brothers and a female relative.
A security cordon has been set up around the area, and the prosecution is carrying out an investigation to determine the cause of the collapse.
Building collapses are commonplace in Egypt and are usually attributed to building code violations, illegal extensions, and loosely enforced construction laws.
