Egypt's President Abdel-Fattah El-Sisi ratified on Sunday the new consumer protection law,hich was approved by the Egyptian parliament in April, the Egyptian presidency announced.
The 56-article-law aims to protect the consumers in Egypt through strict penalties against companies or merchants who violate regulations.
The law is published in the official state gazette.
