Egypt’s squash star Amr Shabana secures his first ever victory on English soil

Egypt’s squash star and world number 8, Amr Shabana defeated France’s Gregory Gaultier (world nuber 3) to clinch the World Series title on Sunday.

The four-time World champion beat the Gautier  3-2 (6/11, 12/10, 11/7, 7/11, 11/8) to obtain the first England-based tournament in his career.

The 32-year old, Shabana, reached the final after thrashing Englishman and  world number one  James Willstrop 2-0 in the semi-final on Saturday.
