Mohamed Zidan, Jurgen Klopp and Antonio Da Silva
Egyptian forward Mohamed Zidan had a bust-up with his Dortmund teammate Antonio Da Silva after Monday’s training session, according to the German newspaper Derwesten.
Da Silva reportedly kicked a ball towards Zidan, who reacted angrily, kicking several balls back at Da Silva. Teammates then had to intervene to separate the two rivals who also used to be play together in Mainz under the helm of their current coach Jurgen Klopp.
According to the report, Zidan got into the bus alone and by lunchtime he was still furious.
The 30-year-old international forward has already revealed his frustration at being left on the bench since suffering a knee injury in 2010. He is said to be leaving Dortmund during the January transfer window because he wants more playing time.
