Top local, Arab and European institutions and companies are eyeing partnership with Egyptian companies in the upcoming International Property Show (IPS) Egypt, the Middle East’s biggest property show platform for local and international real estate markets, set to be held in Egypt from 10 to 13 January 2019.
The IPS Egypt conference and show, held under the auspices of Egypt’s Prime Minister Mostafa Madbouly, is being organised by Emirates Strategic Company for Organising Exhibitions and MREC Integrated Real Estate Services, which have organised a number of major international events and exhibitions.
IPS is held annually in the UAE’s Dubai with the participation of 20 to 30 companies from different countries.
This is the first time the edition is being held outside the UAE in over 17 years. New Cairo’s Al-Manara International Conference Centre in the Fifth Settlement, New Cairo will host the conference.
More than 30 real estate developers from Arab and European countries, including the Dubai Land Department and Off-plan Sales or Rent Program (Wafi), which is affiliated with the Saudi Housing Ministry, will participate in the exhibition, according to Walid Farghal, director-general of the Strategic Company for Organising Exhibitions.
Mahmoud Abdel-Halim, chairman of MREC Integrated Real Estate Services, said that the companies participating in the IPS were selected carefully based on their experience and strong presence in the Egyptian market.
A large real estate conference will be held on the sidelines of the IPS with the participation of senior officials from the country’s Ministry of Housing, the New Urban Communities Authority, as well as officials from the UAE and Saudi Arabia to highlight available investment opportunities in the Egyptian real estate marker.
