Winger Shikabala will not play against Africa Sports in the African Champions League after missing training without authorization

Zamalek winger Mahmoud Abdel-Razek "Shikabala" was left out of the team's 20-man squad for the game against Ivorian outfit Africa Sports in the second leg of the African Champions League round of 32 on Sunday.

He was also fined for missing training without permission after returning from from international duty, having been part of Egypt's squad for the training camp in Sudan.

The Cairo giants will also miss the services of experienced striker Ahmed Hossam "Mido" due to back injury.

Zamalek are favourites to qualify for the Champions League last 16, having beaten Africa Sports 1-0 in Cairo in the first leg, thanks to an early goal from Benin frontman Razak Omotoyossi.

Zamalek's 20-man squad:

Goalkeepers: Abdel Wahed El-Sayed, Mahmoud Abdel-Rehim

Defenders: Mahmoud Fathallah, Hani Saied, Mohamed Abdel-Shafy, Sabry Rahil, Omar Gaber, Ahmed Tawfik, Salah Soliman

Midfielders: Ibrahim Salah, Eslam Awad, Nour El-Sayed, Alexis Mendomo, Mahmoud Abdel Razek ‘Shikabala’, Ahmed Hassan, Alaa Aly

Strikers: Ahmed Gaafar, Razak Omotoyossi, Amr Zaki, Mohamed Ibrahim
