Qatar to host short course swimming worlds in 2014

Qatari capital Doha to host the 25-meter pool event in December 2014

Qatar has been awarded hosting rights for the 2014 World Short Course Swimming Championships.

Swimming’s world governing body says its ruling bureau selected the city of Doha to host the 25-meter pool event in December 2014.

The 2012 event runs Dec. 12-16 in Istanbul.
