Egypt Interior ministry ready to secure Mozambique football crew

The interior ministry agree to secure Mozambique crew in Egypt when they face the national team on 1 June in the 2014 World Cup qualifiers

The Egyptian interior ministry has informed the Egyptian Football Association that they are ready to secure Mozambique national team crew when they arrive in Egypt to face the national team in the 2014 World Cup Qualifiers in June.

"We received an official letter from the government that they will secure the Mozambique national team crew in Egypt before and after the 2014 World Cup Qualifiers game against Egypt national team on 1 June" read a statement on the EFA official site on Monday.

The Pharaohs will kick off their 2014 World Cup Qualifiers campaign when they host their opponent Mozambique in the Arab Bridge Stadium in Alexandria.

The seven-time Africa Cup of Nations (CAN) champions, under the guidance of American coach Bob Bradley, paired with Guinea, Zimbabwe and Mozambique in Group G of the qualifiers.
