Amar Rahmanovic then scored on 20 minutes to ensure the win.
Kouka, who is on loan from Greek side Olympiacos, took his tally to eight goals in 29 appearances in all competitions so far this season, including five in the Turkish league.
He was left out of Egypt's squad for the African Cup of Nations and is unlikely to be called up for a World Cup qualifying playoff against Senegal later this month.
Konyaspor lie second in the league table on 52 points, a massive 14 points behind runaway leaders Trabzonspor, who have a game in hand.
Galatasaray, where another Egyptian striker plays in Mostafa Mohamed, lie 12th with 35 points.
