Orascom undertakes $141 million of work for Emaar Egypt

Dubai developer's Egyptian unit continues to build

Orascom Construction Industries, Egypt's biggest listed builder, said on Monday it agreed to undertake LE800 million worth of work for Dubai-based developer Emaar Properties.

The work will be for Emaar's Egyptian unit on its Marassi project, on Egypt's northern coast, and its residential Mivida project near Cairo, Orascom said in a statement. It expects to complete the works within 22 months, it added.
