Two Palestinians injured in Israeli occupation army West Bank raid

Israeli occupation army shot and injured two Palestinians in a raid on a refugee camp near Jericho in the occupied West Bank on Monday, the Palestinian health ministry said.

The occupation army said its forces were operating in the Aqabat Jaber camp near Jericho, without providing further details.

The Palestinian ministry confirmed in a statement that "two people were injured by live bullets in the lower extremities", adding that they were taken to the general hospital in Jericho.

Ahmad Jibril, an official with the Red Crescent, said 10 other people were treated for suffocation due to inhaling tear gas also fired by the soldiers at the homes in the camp, according to the Palestinian news agency WAFA.
