While Nantes has yet to release an official decision regarding the Egyptian star, the website reported that Mohamed will be available to play against Montpellier on Saturday.
The report stated that Mohamed will not face any sporting sanctions but will receive a financial penalty.
The 25-year-old attacker defended his decision not to participate in the campaign, citing his personal convictions and beliefs.
Over the weekend, all teams in Ligue 1 and Ligue 2 wore shirts featuring rainbow-coloured numbers, and captains' armbands were also similarly coloured as part of the initiative.
French website L'Equipe reported that Mohamed refused to wear the jersey and instead stayed in the hotel during his team's game against Toulouse, which ended in a scoreless draw.
Mohamed is not the only player who declined to participate in the campaign, as Morocco and Toulouse midfielder Zakaria Aboukhlal was also absent from the game.
Mohamed, who joined Nantes on a season-long loan deal from Turkish side Galatasaray at the beginning of the season, has scored 11 goals in 48 appearances for the French team this season.
Nantes is currently struggling in the table, sitting in 17th place with 33 points after playing 35 games.
