Zamalek are currently fourth in the table, two points behind Future.
A win for Zamalek would see them leapfrog their opponents and move into third due to their superior head-to-head record. They have won all three previous meetings between the teams, most recently triumphing 2-1 at home in January.
Juan Carlos Osorio's team is full of optimism after their crushing 6-1 victory over Arab Contractors in the Egyptian Cup, while Future boss Ali Maher knows victory will be far from easy given his poor record against Zamalek.
Maher has faced Zamalek 10 times as coach of various other Egyptian teams, but has yet to taste victory, drawing once and losing the remaining nine encounters.
