Since the war began, Israel has been targeting the Gaza Strip with an air and ground campaign that reduced large parts of the north of the territory to rubble and killed nearly 19,453 people.
The Palestinian health ministry said that 70% of the dead are women and children.
According to the health ministry, 52,286 people in Gaza have been wounded in more than two months of fighting.
