The Cairo giants lead Group B with a maximum nine points, while Sagrada are third with three points. A win for Zamalek would guarantee them a spot in the knockout stage.
“We've set our sights on claiming victory and a quarter-final berth in Angola. The clash with Sagrada won't be easy, but we believe our determination will see us through.” Gamal told a press conference.
Gamal said he trusts his players to deliver a good performance despite the absence of key defenders Mahmoud Alaa and Mahmoud ‘El-Wensh’ Hamdi, who are both injured.
“Both Mahmoud Alaa and Mahmoud 'El-Wensh' Hamdi are out injured, and the technical staff will take their time in deciding when to bring them back. But the remaining players are determined to step up and fill the void.” he said.
“We won the first leg against Sagrada, but the next match won't be easy. We need to win to secure qualification,” he said.
Abu Salim of Libya are second in Group A with six points, while SOAR of Guinea are bottom without any points.
