Ivory Coast's striker Arouna Kone insists he is adapting well to his new UK club, Wigan, promising more goals and outstanding performances.
Kone left Seville, Spain this summer to join the Premier League outfit on a three-year deal.
The Ivorian international had an impressive start with the Latics as he featured in the first three games of the season scoring one goal.
"I am settling in very well at Wigan. Coach [Roberto] Martinez is very good and I love it there," Kone told Skysports late on Monday.
"Hopefully I will reward the club for the trust they put in me with goals and performances to be proud of," the 28-year-old hitman added.
Being absent from the international scene in the last four years due to successive injuries, Kone made his first appearance with the Elephants on Saturday's 4-2 win over Senegal at the 2013 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers.
"I am very happy to return to the national team after four years," said Kone.
"To return for an important match and to win is very good.
"I know most of the squad; the team has not changed much in four years, it is the same group," he concluded.
