The White Knights are eager to improve their position in the league table.
Currently, Zamalek sits in ninth place with 38 points from 24 games, and they still have five games in hand.
In their previous game, Zamalek came from behind to secure a 2-1 victory over Ismaily last week, thanks to veteran midfielder Abdallah El-Said, who scored both goals.
El-Said's impressive performance took his overall tally in the Egyptian League to 128 goals, making him the third top scorer of all time in the league.
Due to the absence of the talented winger Ahmed 'Zizo' Sayed, who joined the Egypt U-23 team as a senior player, El-Said is expected to lead the Zamalek squad on Thursday.
Additionally, international fullback Ahmed Fatouh is likely to make his return after a lengthy spell on the sidelines due to an ankle injury. Fatouh's presence will provide a valuable boost to the team, given his offensive abilities and experience.
On the other hand, Talae El-Geish are eager to put an end to their six-game winless streak, which has caused them to drop to 11th place in the league table with 35 points from 29 games.
The military side has faced Ahly twice in the space of eight days, losing both matches by scores of 4-0 and 2-0 respectively.
They hope to avoid a similar outcome against Zamalek and improve their position in the standings.
