Palestinian striker Wessam Abou Ali, who was named man of the match, stole the show with a super hat-trick, while winger Hussein El-Shahat and midfielder Emam Ashour added to the tally, securing the club’s third consecutive league crown.
The victory capped a remarkable late-season surge under coach Emad El-Nahhas, who took over in late April.

"Thank Allah for winning the league. We received a gift from Allah in the last six matches, and we are a great team that shouldn't be given such gifts. The most important thing for us was winning the last six matches by any means, and we were able to achieve that.

“I have become an Egyptian. I spend a lot of time with Emam Ashour, Yasser Ibrahim, and Afsha, and I have started speaking the Egyptian dialect more than English or Swiss."
