The event is scheduled to take place on Monday and Tuesday in Amman.

The forum aims to strengthen international cooperation between Arab higher education institutions and certified student recruitment agents from around the world.

It will feature bilateral meetings, the signing of strategic partnership agreements, and discussions on mechanisms to increase enrollment and student engagement in Arab universities.

This initiative aligns with the AArU's mission to enhance the global standing of Arab higher education and to develop tools that keep pace with international changes and challenges in student recruitment.

Dr.Amr Ezzat Salama, the association’s secretary-general said: “This forum represents a strategic platform to strengthen the presence of Arab universities on the international educational map.”

It, he added, opens new horizons for collaboration with specialized partners in student recruitment.

“At the Association, we firmly believe that expanding international student enrollment not only enriches cultural diversity on campuses but also contributes to enhancing educational quality and boosting the global competitiveness of our institutions."

The Association of Arab Universities, headquartered in Amman, was established in 1964 following an initiative by the League of Arab States.

Its foundation was preceded by key conferences in Benghazi and Beirut, which addressed challenges in Arab higher education and proposed frameworks for inter-university cooperation.

The first General Conference in 1969 saw the participation of 23 founding universities, at which point the General Secretariat became permanent and Morsi Ahmed, Egypt’s former higher education minister, was elected as the first Secretary-General.
